How do you measure a decade? The past 10 years were made up of 120 months, 3,650 days, 5,256,000 minutes, and an infinite number of moments.
This year alone, campus photographer Michael Forster Rothbart captured more than 24,000 of these moments. To celebrate the end of the 2010s, he searched the office hard drives and selected 30 of the decade's most powerful images.
From the seemingly insignificant (a moonlit winter's night on campus, a weightlifting session, the sharing of a bottle of water) to the more remarkable (a study abroad trip 6,600 miles away and the inauguration of a new college president), here are some of SUNY Oneonta's most captivating photos of the decade:
